Jacksonville Loses Tight one in Pittsburgh 13-17

The Jaguars this year have become accustomed to losing in all different kinds of ways, and this week just added to those losing methods. With the loss Jacksonville has now lost five games in a row, and head coach Jack Del Rio’s job is now definitely on the hot seat if it was not already before.

Pittsburgh jumped out to a 17-0 lead in this game with touchdowns by receiver Mike Wallace and running back Rashard Mendenhall. The Steelers out gained the Jaguars 315-68 yards in the first half, however Jacksonville was able to hang around even with the Pittsburgh dominance.

Blaine Gabbert and the beleaguered Jaguars offense were able to put a few drives together, unfortunately for them they were only able to put 13 points together. The Jacksonville defense played phenomenal in the second half, but with an offense as anemic as the Jaguars is, the defense cannot give up any points to have a chance to win.

Jacksonville will face the Baltimore Ravens next week which will be another extremely difficult game for the Jaguars to win, especially with a rookie QB facing a stout Baltimore defense.
