The Jacksonville Jaguars new head coach, Mike Mularkey is impressed with what he has seen from linebacker, Russell Allen, so far. Russell Allen has been a backup and the first linebacker to rotate in or to replace an injured starter. However, with a new coach, he may be upgrading his role from spot starter to a full time starter. With Clint Session unable to participate in any off season workouts because of three concussions in 2011, Russell Allen has worked out with the starters, and has impressed the new head coach, Mike Mularkey.

Clint Session has yet to be able to show the new coaching staff what he is capable of, and everyday that he misses just gives Russell Allen a greater chance to take over the starting spot. The often injured Clint Session is going to need to show up to training camp ready to go and impress the new coaching staff, but for Session, his biggest priority should be staying healthy.
