The leading rusher from 2011 and the Jacksonville Jaguars star player, RB Maurice Jones-Drew, has finally ended his long holdout and has reported to the Jacksonville Jaguars to get ready for the 2012 season. He isn’t reporting on the terms that he wanted to, and still has the same contract that he was looking to have replaced with a contract that paid him more than any other RB in the NFL. Regardless of what’s happening on the business side of football, the Jaguars players, coaches, and fans are all thrilled to see number 32 back in practice and getting ready for the 2012 season.
It was reported earlier that even if Maurice Jones-Drew reported, it would still be Rashad Jennings getting the start in week one. Due to the season only being a week away and Jones-Drew likely not in football shape, it is very likely that this remains true and Jennings gets most of the snaps at RB in week one against the Minnesota Vikings.
