Week 2: Jaguars vs. Texans

After barely losing to the Vikings in overtime last week, the Jaguars will now face a tougher opponent, the Houston Texans. Despite missing nearly all of training camp and preseason, it wasn’t expected of Maurice Jones-Drew to carry the ball 19 times, but he averaged over four yards per carry and gave the team the best opportunity to win. However, if the Jaguars think they did well in stopping Peterson, which they don’t and they didn’t, we better hope the Jaguars have a few tricks up their sleeves to stop the most dangerous running back in the NFL, Arian Foster. In addition to Foster, we have to expect that Schaub and Johnson will attempt to take advantage of the Jaguars secondary. The Jaguars keys to winning this game is to play well on defense, and to get the ball into the hands on Maurice Jones-Drew and to let him run downhill against the Texans.
